GAH! When did Poison Ivy get a cameltoe?
Doodles: Bugsdoodlesthegreat on June 6th, 2007 04:25 am (UTC)
Well, Harley Quinn keeps pulling up on her tights...

That's the REAL Atomic Wedgie.
Brigidshadefell on June 7th, 2007 01:03 am (UTC)
Isn't "camel toe" the labia all outlined and puffy? It seems that she lacks labia entirely, and has a barbie-doll-esque crotch... but her ass cheeks are hanging down and showing. I don't see how anyone could fail to find that sexy. MRRROW.

I also like how the negative space between her thighs forms a phallic object. What a coincidence!
Brigidshadefell on June 7th, 2007 02:06 pm (UTC)
Well, what else is supposed to go there? I mean, really.
The Event Horizon of Awful Thingsthetathx1138 on June 7th, 2007 02:26 pm (UTC)
Well, pants would be a start.
Brigidshadefell on June 7th, 2007 02:30 pm (UTC)
But if she donned pants, then viewers might start to see her as a person and not just as some kind of wank fodder.

That way lies madness.

I think the concern might be they'll start noticing the lousy writing...

Awesome! Witchblade has no pubic hair, nor clitoris. No icky hair, and no having to satisfy her first, last, or ever!

Looks like her nipples made a break for it.

This entry deserves "underage ass," too. In that uniform, that is a schoolgirl, not a woman.
Top Cow has often been about the underage ass.

Maybe Witchblade (dammit, I keep writing "Witchblande") just has no erogenous zones?
Doodles: Djinnidoodlesthegreat on June 6th, 2007 04:27 am (UTC)
I think Witchblande is an appropriate title.

Men and women in comics are smoother than Ken and Barbie. That's why they use tentacles to impregnate one another.

Normally one would say tentacles, but the red things look more like earthworms to me. Maybe she's getting ready to go fishing for bass.

Meanwhile fanboys gripe because the new Super Girl artist draws her looking like a REAL 17 year old girl rahter than some hyper-sexed boytoy.

She's cute, has great facial expressions, a skirt that covers her rear (which she wears -shorts- under!) and isn't anorexic. I think that makes her far more Super than any of these other bimbos that pass for heroines these days.
Brigidshadefell on June 7th, 2007 02:46 pm (UTC)
People are complaining that the artist has used a model/photos to base the sketches on? Have I fallen into some tunnel that leads from normaville to crazytown? What the hell?

I haven't purchased comics from Marvel or DC in some five years now. I'm curious as to how this run of Super Girl will turn out, though.

Please, are you trying to imply pany shots in Japanese comics cause these perverts? Why don't you just join Jack Thompson in blaming Columbine for video games?

Personally, I think it's more art imitating life. Or ather catering to what sells. The Japanese seem to have a panty fetish. I think most can keep it to their fantasies and comics. Sadly you have perverts like this guy who bring it into real life and prey on real girls.

That you take this news story and then connect it to some random shots from manga and comics is bullcrap. Plus there are tons more manga that have panty shots and such. Then again, for the girls there tends to be pretty boys and homosexual relationships. In Japan they cater to female comic book fantasies as well. We're only just now starting to see that here.

Anyway, just clicked on your site and wanted to offer my two cents on this one story that irked me.

Your grasp of English grammar is...unfortunate, but amusing. Jack Thompson defending video games is an idea that fills my black heart with giggles.
